Game Analysis:
South Gower 11’s came out blazing in their first match of the season, good shape and controlled aggression up front which rattled the opposition. South Gower forwards secured plenty of ball with some hard tackles from Sam Jones, which allowed the backs to spread the ball into space for two first half tries by Chay Smith. The second half saw much of the same, with Gower forwards Alex Ashburner and Daniel Barker driving the mauls on where the pressure soon delivered a third try from Chay Smith. Vardre kept the fight on and did manage a well earned try, but the Gower pressure was too much for them as scrum half Jamie Thomas and centre Sam Pritchard both crossed the line consecutively for a well earned result.
