Game Analysis:
Glynneath turned on from the start putting South Gower under intense pressure within their 22. Valiant defending from South Gower wasn’t enough as Glynneath got the first try of the game. South Gower had to step up to the mark if they were going to stay in the game and did so well following the restart, with scrum half Jamie Thomas getting an equalising try.

Try for try in an evenly matched game Glynneath came back with another well-earned try. However, the Gower All Blacks confidence was clearly growing. Forwards Thomas Wright and Daniel Barker really made their mark in the driving mauls and Alex Ashburner making some hard earned yards carrying the ball up field, with the forwards battling supported by a number of great off loads which allowed centres Chay Smith and Sam Pritchard to cross the try line in succession before the half time whistle.

The second half saw more of the same, South Gower driving on leaving Glynneath scrambling for clean ball. A clearance kick that was read and charged down by Chay Smith secured another 5 pointer for Gower. A good breaking run from Glynneath added a third try to Glynneath’s score line but only to be counter attacked by a blazing run from Gower's Kieran Shreves that ended an entertaining game with well structured phase play by the South Gower 11’s.
